Business Owners: OSHA 300A Form To Be Posted By February 1, 2014

Do you have more than ten employees?
If your answer is yes, than your business may be required to comply with this new mandate from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) by February 1, 2014.   (You may be exempt if you qualify as part of a low-risk industry classification listed via the hyper-link below.)  With this new law, you are now required to maintain the OSHA 300 Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses and post a summary of the previous year’s log between February 1st and April 30th each year, even if no incidents occurred in the preceding calendar year.  The summary (OSHA Form 300A) must be certified by a company executive and posted in a conspicuous location where notices to employees are customarily posted.
