To keep on track with ones fitness goals this summer let us talk about something that we all pretty much agree with. It is better to eat fresh fruits, vegetables, and pretty much any other type of food over the processed version. Additionally when buying local food you support local farms, which can be the hidden gem of your community.
Local food may cost a little more but it:
-Is healthier food
-Is better tasting food
-Has less chemical additives
-Helps support local business
-Is less harmful to the environment
-Reiteration: THE TASTE!
When choosing which fruits to eat, or which vegetables to add to your stew try your hardest to buy local grown, or maybe start your own garden. Be sure to use locally grown food right away as no preservatives means it is not preserved for an extended period of time.
