It is apparent that a couple of prospective customers believe that we provide the insurance that is being sold to them, that we as an agency pay out money for claims.  This is not what we do, although it can be confusing I will try to clear it up as best I can. We are salesmen and saleswoman selling the service of insurance to our customers. Just as a dealership sells cars, and lets say Ford makes them, we sell insurance provided by Safeco or The Hartford.
