Memorial Day Grilling Idea - Flank Steak with Soy Mustard Sauce

I know I promised a weekend food blog before Easter this year.  Well it hasn’t happened and I think that a more realistic expectation is that if you are regular follower of our blogs you will get some tasty recipes throughout the year.  The holiday weekends seem to be interesting and more relaxed times to try something new and sometimes coming up with a new idea is the hard part.  Am I right?
Starting tomorrow is the unofficial start of summer,  Memorial Day weekend, and if you are like me you will want to get grilling outside this weekend.
Oh what to cook that isn’t the usual hamburgers and hotdogs?  I began by searching Oui Chef (http://www.ouichefnetwork.com) and I found a grilling recipe for Flank Steak with Soy Mustard Sauce.  OK, if the title doesn’t grab you then maybe I need to repeat it slowly; F L A N K  S T E A K with S O Y  M U S T A R D  S A U C E.  Here’s what Oui Chef’s Steven Dunn, also my brother-in-law, says:
This Cooking Light recipe is so tasty and quick I bet you’ll return to it again and again over the upcoming grilling season to roaring applause from family and friends alike. Made with a fast cooking flank steak and a sauce made in less than 5 minutes, you can reach for this meal on even the busiest weeknight. Feeding a crowd on the weekend? Buy a few more steaks, double or triple the sauce recipe, bake a bunch of potatoes, make a fresh garden salad and you’re good to go. A few cold beers might fit the menu nicely as well.

I like food with light and fresh sauces and of course with steak in the name I had to at least review this recipe.  So if you are cooking for one or ten this weekend you may want to give this recipe a try.  Don’t forget the sides Steve mentions too.
