Ion Insurance has selected Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. of Waterbury as its December 2015 recipient in its Quotes for a Cause program.  Quotes for a Cause was created to help local Connecticut charities every month by making a donation based on every new insurance quote we provide.  For every quote we give, we will donate $5 to a charity of our choosing.
Acts 4 Ministry is a non-denominational, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the needs of families and individuals in financial distress, who may have ‘lost everything to fire, flood, etc.’ within the Greater Waterbury area. Acts 4 Ministry is not a church. They are a collaborative group of staff and volunteers who desire to share God’s love by bringing comfort and meeting the physical needs of others. They achieve this on many levels, and always welcome assistance in any form. This includes volunteering to help collect, sort and distribute re-usable clothing, furniture and housewares. Acts 4 Ministry distributes clothing to nearly 4,000 people and over 1,000 pieces of furniture and housewares annually.
