Wedding Season is Upon Us!
As we head into June this is one of the most popular times of the year to get married. This time last year I was getting ready for my wedding in June and I do remember the stress of getting everything done on time. While planning the wedding we knew we wanted June 16, the problem was because it was so busy for this time of year we had to book the Aqua Turf well in advance. Once that was booked everything follows, church, flowers, dresses, tuxes, DJ, photographer and so on. Trying to get everyone for that date was a bit stressful because some already had it booked and as our photographer said people book 2 years in advance; we were a year in advance for everything but the photographer. That picture up top was actually my own wedding cake and I can’t tell you how many changes we made to it throughout the last 6 months! Happy to say everything went smoothly and the one day we took so long to prepare for flew by so quickly.
One thing we did not have was wedding insurance, to be honest I never even thought about it. Now that I know what it is, it is something I would have gotten. There are too many variables for planning the big day and most of it is left to the trust of people being professional.
