Out of work because of an Injury?
Out of work because of an Injury?
If you were to get hurt and not be able to work for a length of time would you be okay? Probably not. You would need some sort of income to keep you moving. With CT long term disability insurance you can replace anywhere from 60-70% of your income and it can cover you for an expanded period of time. The same goes for short term disability insurance, your income can be replaced anywhere from 60-70% but it’s only short term and if your injury requires you to be out longer then you are in a bind.

While some states require short term disability, no state requires long term disability coverage so you should help yourself in case an event occurs where you need to be out of work for a period of time.
