Ion Bank to Host AARP Smart Driver Course
On Saturday January 31st, our friends at Ion Bank will be hosting the AARP Smart Driver Course. The course is from 12:30pm – 4:30pm at their Southbury branch located at 363 Main Street South. The course is limited to 20 participants and the fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
During the course you will learn defensive driving techniques, proven safety strategies, and new laws and traffic rules. One of the benefits of this class is that there is no test to take and all you do is simply sign up and learn! After completion of the AARP Smart Driver course, you may be eligible for a multi-year discount on your car insurance policy.
